WELCOME
After more than 25 years of consciously traveling a spiritual path (after all, we're always traveling one whether we know it or not...), I am nowhere close to a guru but I have learned enough to feel I have wisdom to share. I have created workshops, designed yoga classes and written some "insights" to the journey. I'm still teaching at Full Circle Massage (in Lexington, KY) -- check "Class Schedule " link for complete class listings. I've consolidated all class schedules into the class schedule page that has a link at the side of every page so it should be easier to check. I've started teaching NCBTMB CE hours classes -- see class schedule for specifics. My classes are going to be part of Kreig Cremeans' wonderful Body Patterning work. I'm cutting back on my other classes to concentrate on connecting with Massage Schools and Wellness Centers that offer CE classes. These classes use my work that combines Robert Masters' triggers of release with yoga stretches. Check back for more info on these classes soon to come. Any suggested connections to places that you think would like to learn this work will be most welcome.
I'm very excited about a class I've been doing called Restoring Freedom of Movement. I developed it initially for myself after working with Robert Masters' Psychophysical Method and some Feldenkrais and Somatics for years, ultimately creating routines that, combined with yoga, have helped to banish the last vestiges of fibromyalgia and badly hung up muscles. Students have had some great results in opening tight areas, and their chiropractors, trainers, massage therapists, etc. have been verifying positive change. See class schedule.
Be sure to check out my spiritual journey blog called Bluegrass Notes . I hope to start some interesting conversations there, so if you're interested, please check it out. I've been told I need to add a privacy policy. Since no one can leave any personal info anywhere on this site I find that odd, but here's what I came up with: Privacy Policy
I believe that peace begins in the heart of the individual. Everything you see in the world that seems to conflict with peace comes from something inside you that conflicts with peace. The journey is, at its core, about healing those conflicts and opening to your divine self. It's the most important contribution you can make to the world. Travel in joy!
NAMASTE,
Leigh
